Hot Quinoa Cereal

4 cups cooked Quinoa
2-5 Tbsp. maple syrup
1/3 cup milk
2/3 cup water
Dried fruit & nuts (pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, walnuts, dried cherries, etc.) (Optional)
Cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. (Optional)
Directions
- Mix together all ingredients in a medium saucepan over low to medium heat.
- Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Make sure you do not let it burn!
- Serve hot!
Notes
- I use goat milk but you could use any kind of milk or milk substitute, i.e., almond, oat, etc.
- You can serve this cereal as is, or you could add extra milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices, or even a little pat of butter!
