Hot Quinoa Cereal

This makes a wonderful, healthy breakfast on cold mornings! You can add your favorite dried fruit, nuts, and spices to make it your own!

IngrediEnts

  • 4 cups cooked Quinoa

  • 2-5 Tbsp. maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 2/3 cup water

  • Dried fruit & nuts (pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, walnuts, dried cherries, etc.) (Optional)

  • Cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. (Optional)

Directions

  • Mix together all ingredients in a medium saucepan over low to medium heat.
  • Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Make sure you do not let it burn!
  • Serve hot!

Notes

  • I use goat milk but you could use any kind of milk or milk substitute, i.e., almond, oat, etc.
  • You can serve this cereal as is, or you could add extra milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices, or even a little pat of butter!
